The Goe West app offers the chance to access opportunities and options in Göttingen's Weststadt easily and at any time via app and to get in touch.

The target group is the entire population of the district and offers both locals and newcomers the opportunity to network easily.

The content has been developed in small workshops and offers the possibility for various local providers to introduce themselves and at the same time involve new target groups.

The main purpose of this course is to provide an introduction to the result - the GOE West App!

UNITED IN DIVERSITY

is the reflection of how the European Union is being enriched by the continent's many different cultures, traditions and languages.

VORTOJ is an educational game that combines learning languages, music and rhythm, competitiveness, and physical jumping activity on the dance pad. Pupils attending primary elementary school will learn new vocabulary, practise grammar and discover pronunciation in this new game that complements formal language learning. The enhanced knowledge of the foreign languages and digital literacy that students gained at a young age will better their cultural understanding and interconnectedness, as well as improve their employability in the long run.

This module on Open Educational Resources (OER) offers thematic inputs as well as exercises to test and train one's own skills.

With the learning units

  • OER - Background and Basic Ideas
  • Using and Developing OER
  • Application of OER in one's own context

basic aspects of the topic are covered.

The focus area of the ChangeInMind project is to improve the quality of life in line with United Nation Sustainable Development Goal No.3 (SDG 3) “Health and well-being” designed to be usable in the workplace and address the need for support and prevention of post covid 19 burnout.

The main goals are to make the remote and in-presence workplace a more mindful place aware of workers' needs, more consistent with the functioning of physiology and circadian rhythms.

LEVEL5 is not just about validation, it is a holistic validation and learning system.

Therefore, it is designed to plan and deliver competence-based learning - especially in informal and non-formal contexts where no pre-written learning plans are available.

Windmills are important Dutch cultural heritage. They combine a characteristic historical building with a vivid technical function. Therefore, the Dutch partners  developed a walking tour in the city of Schiedam, in cooperation with the Schiedam Windmill Foundation. The tour goes along five windmills and several related buildings, all built to contribute to the process of genever distilleries. And this all within a distance of less than three kilometers!

During the project we were able to digital parts of the game "Partizipa City", which is about dealing with racism, especially anti-Muslim racism in Germany. The idea arose from the fact that there is an increasing kind of racist development towards Muslims in German society, which does not even shy away from violence and takes many prejudices into account. In particular, everyday behaviour based on these hidden prejudices can be found and observed in society.

The DEAL Blended Teaching and Learning Approach provides the conceptual backbone for the innovative study concept, which is transferable to different target groups, learning settings and AE sectors due to its modular concept.

The central elements here are competence-oriented learning and validation and the facilitation of design thinking workshops. These form the starting point for the development of digital projects and innovative learning ideas (these can also be found in the category of the DEAL project).
